How to Open and Pay for an AWS Account from Bangladesh

TiCON Cloud Team· AWS Advanced Tier Partner· May 26, 2026· 6 min read

Getting started on AWS from Bangladesh raises two practical questions: how do you open the account, and how do you pay? Here's the straightforward version.

Option 1: Direct with an international card

You can sign up directly at aws.amazon.com with an international credit card. This works, but exposes you to FX, SWIFT delays, and reconciliation overhead — and you miss reseller discounts.

Option 2: Through a local AWS reseller

Provisioning through TiCON, an AWS Advanced Tier Partner, means your account is set up and billed locally in Bangladeshi Taka.

  • One NBR and Bangladesh Bank compliant invoice in BDT
  • Pay by local bank transfer, MFS, or corporate card
  • Reseller discounts, including up to 40% off CloudFront
  • Onboarding support and a Technical Account Manager

Which should you choose?

If you want speed, local billing, and discounts, the reseller route is simpler. If you only need a quick sandbox, direct signup is fine — and you can move to reseller billing later.
