AWS Partners in Bangladesh

Bangladesh has several AWS partners across the Select, Advanced and Premier tiers, and any tier claim can be checked in the AWS Partner Solutions Finder. Beyond tier, what decides the outcome is the invoicing currency and entity, support response times, migration track record, and whether the partner resells AWS or only consults. TiCON Cloud (TICON System Limited) is a Dhaka-based AWS Advanced Tier Partner that invoices in taka (BDT).

What the AWS Partner tiers actually mean

AWS sorts services partners into three tiers — Select, Advanced and Premier — on evidence it can count: trained and certified staff, AWS certifications held, and customer projects launched. A tier therefore describes how much validated AWS experience a firm has accumulated, not how well it fits your project. A Select Tier partner that has run your exact workload for years can serve you better than a higher-tier firm that has never seen one. Read tier as a floor on experience, then judge the rest on its own merits.

Select Tier

AWS describes Select Tier Services Partners as partners with trained and certified individuals and customer experience.

  • Entry services tier
  • Certified staff on record
  • Launched AWS customer projects

Advanced Tier

AWS describes Advanced Tier Services Partners as partners with a strong team of trained and certified technical individuals and proven customer experience. This is TiCON Cloud's tier.

  • Higher certification threshold
  • More launched projects
  • TiCON Cloud's current tier

Premier Tier

AWS describes Premier Tier Services Partners as its most experienced partners, recognized as leaders in their geographical, vertical or horizontal markets. TiCON Cloud does not hold this tier.

  • Highest services tier
  • Multiple program validations
  • Large customer base at scale

How to verify a partner's tier claim

A tier badge on a company website is self-published, and the wording drifts — "AWS Partner", "consulting partner" and "certified partner" are not tiers. AWS keeps its own directory, the AWS Partner Solutions Finder at partners.amazonaws.com, and that listing is the record worth checking. It shows the partner's current tier, its locations, and the validations AWS has awarded, such as Competencies, Service Delivery designations and MSP status. The check takes about a minute and it settles most of the argument.

  • Open the AWS Partner Solutions Finder at partners.amazonaws.com and filter by location Bangladesh
  • Search the legal entity name as well as the trading name — the two often differ on the listing
  • Read the tier from the listing rather than from the badge on the company's own site
  • Treat Competencies and Service Delivery designations as separate from tier: they are workload-specific and more informative for a particular project
  • Ask each shortlisted partner to send you the link to its own listing, then check that the entity named there is the entity that will invoice you
  • Re-check before renewal: tiers are reviewed periodically and a company can move between them

The AWS partners operating in Bangladesh

More than one firm holds AWS partner status in Bangladesh, and more than one of them may be a reasonable choice for a given project. Below is what each company publicly states about its own AWS status, as published on its own website in September 2026 — no commentary on price, client base or quality, because that is not ours to make. The AWS Partner Solutions Finder, filtered by country, is the authoritative and current list.

  • Genese Solution states on its website that it is an AWS Premier Partner
  • Brain Station 23 states on its website that it is an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner
  • Cloud Experts publishes its AWS page under the title AWS Advanced Partner in Bangladesh
  • bdcalling describes itself as an official AWS Partner without naming a tier
  • TiCON Cloud is an AWS Advanced Tier Partner
  • This list is not exhaustive, and tiers change — filter the AWS Partner Solutions Finder by location Bangladesh for the set AWS itself publishes

What to ask any AWS partner before you sign

Tier tells you something about a partner's history with AWS. It tells you nothing about how your account will be billed, who answers at two in the morning, or whether anyone on the team has moved a workload that looks like yours. Ask every question below of everyone on the shortlist, and get the answers in writing, in the contract or an annex to it. The answers usually separate the field more sharply than the tier does.

  • Billing currency — will I be invoiced in taka, or in US dollars?
  • Invoicing entity — which legal entity issues the invoice, and where is it registered?
  • Resale or consulting — do you take over the AWS billing relationship, or does AWS continue to bill me directly while you advise?
  • Support — what are your response times by severity, who is on call outside business hours, and is AWS Support included or charged separately?
  • Migration experience — which comparable workloads have you migrated, and will you give me a reference customer I can call?
  • Account ownership — whose AWS account do my workloads run in, who holds the root credentials, and what happens to the account if I leave?
  • Region and data placement — which AWS region will my data sit in, and what is the reasoning behind that choice?
  • After launch — what do you do each month to keep the bill from drifting up, and how is that work paid for?

How paying for AWS from Bangladesh works

Buying directly from AWS means a US-dollar account settled by international card or wire, in a currency your revenue is not in, with paperwork your finance team reconciles on its own. Buying through a partner that resells AWS changes the commercial side without changing the technical side: the workloads still run on AWS, in the same regions, through the same console, APIs and service limits. What changes is who bills you, in what currency, and on what piece of paper. For Bangladeshi companies that is usually the deciding difference, because it is felt by the people who never open the AWS console — finance, procurement and audit.

  • TiCON Cloud invoices AWS usage in taka on a single local monthly invoice, so no international card is needed
  • The technical estate is unchanged: the same AWS services, in the regions we run for Bangladeshi clients — ap-south-1 (Mumbai) and ap-southeast-1 (Singapore)
  • Reseller pricing comes with the relationship: typically 15–35% lower effective cost on compute and storage, and up to 40% off CloudFront bandwidth
  • A consulting-only partner cannot change any of this — AWS keeps billing you directly, and the partner bills separately for its time

Where TiCON Cloud fits, and where it does not

TiCON Cloud (TICON System Limited) has been building software and infrastructure since 2007, from offices in Dhaka, Seoul and Tysons Corner, Virginia. It holds AWS Advanced Tier Partner status — not Premier — and it both resells and consults, so it can take over the billing relationship and invoice in taka as well as design, migrate and operate the environment. The record across the business is 200+ projects delivered for 100+ clients. Those are the facts a buyer can weigh; the judgement is yours to make.

  • A good fit when you want AWS billed locally in taka on one invoice, and you want the migration and the day-two operations from the same team
  • A good fit when the work is bandwidth-heavy — CloudFront pricing is where the reseller relationship pays for itself fastest
  • Not the right fit when your procurement rules require a Premier Tier partner, or when a specific AWS Competency is mandatory and another firm holds it
  • Not the right fit when you are contractually bound to purchase directly from AWS
  • In either case, check the AWS Partner Solutions Finder before you decide — it costs a minute and it is AWS's own record, not ours

Frequently asked questions

Several firms publish AWS partner status. Genese Solution states it is an AWS Premier Partner, Brain Station 23 states it is an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, Cloud Experts publishes an AWS Advanced Partner page, and TiCON Cloud is an AWS Advanced Tier Partner.

Who are the AWS Premier Partners in Bangladesh?

What is the difference between an AWS partner and an AWS reseller?

A partner may only consult, in which case AWS still bills you directly. A reseller also takes over the commercial relationship: it buys the AWS usage and invoices you for it. Some firms, TiCON Cloud among them, do both. Ask which model applies before you sign.

Can an AWS partner invoice me in Bangladeshi taka?

A partner that resells AWS can. TiCON Cloud invoices AWS usage in taka (BDT) on one local monthly invoice, so there is no international card or foreign-currency settlement to manage. A consulting-only partner cannot change how AWS bills you.
