How to Get an AWS Account in Bangladesh (Without Buying One)

TiCON Cloud (TICON System Limited) is an AWS Advanced Tier Partner in Dhaka. People searching 'buy AWS account' from Bangladesh usually want to skip a dollar card or a company card. Buying a 'verified' account is not the fix. The AWS Customer Agreement does not allow you to buy, sell or transfer accounts. The two paths that survive a review are below.

Why buying a pre-made AWS account fails

Marketplaces and Facebook groups sell 'verified', 'aged', or 'unlimited' AWS accounts. The pitch is skip the card, skip identity checks, skip Bangladesh Bank's foreign-exchange rules. The product is someone else's account, or an account opened on a stolen identity. That is a contract breach the day you log in, not a loophole.

The AWS Customer Agreement does not give you a right to buy, sell or take over an account another person opened. When AWS traces the account to a broker, when the original cardholder disputes a charge, or when the signup identity does not match the person in the console, AWS can suspend or close the account. Workloads stop. Data that lived only on that account is at risk. There is no support path that makes a purchased login safe afterwards.

If you run a client's production on an account you bought, their data sits on infrastructure you do not own, paid for with a method you do not control. A chargeback is enough to take it down. A company also gets no local tax invoice. Search volume is high in Bangladesh because the legitimate payment path is harder — dollars, card caps, a missing taka invoice — not because buying a login works. Open an account you own, or bill through a reseller.

Path 1: open your own AWS account

If you are an individual, a student, or a founder testing AWS, open the account yourself. You do not need TiCON Cloud for this. You need an email you control, the identity details AWS asks for, and a payment method that can clear an international charge. Follow the live signup on aws.amazon.com; screenshots on blogs go stale.

A Bangladeshi phone number and address are normal. AWS is available here. There is no Region inside Bangladesh; run workloads in Mumbai (ap-south-1) or Singapore (ap-southeast-1), which is what TiCON uses for Bangladeshi production. Nearest region is a latency question, not an account question.

The payment step is what usually fails. AWS collects in dollars for most accounts. A domestic-only debit card is declined. A dual-currency or international card can work if your bank authorises the merchant and you are inside that bank's cap under Bangladesh Bank rules. This page does not quote the cap — ask your issuer. Current Free Tier plans live at aws.amazon.com/free; the Bangladesh walk-through is /blog/aws-free-tier-bangladesh. Surprise bills come from resources left running. Turn on billing alerts the day you open the account.

Use this path when the spend is yours and you do not need a local tax invoice. That is most labs, coursework, and short freelance jobs. A company that must show a VAT invoice, or a bill past what a retail card will clear, should use Path 2.

How to open your own AWS account from Bangladesh

About 30 minutes

Open an account you own. Do not buy a login. Follow AWS's live signup; the steps below are the commercial sequence, not a substitute for the form.

  1. Step 1:

Start on AWS, not on a marketplace

Go to aws.amazon.com and choose Create an AWS account. Do not buy a login or a 'verified' account from a broker.

  2. Step 2:

    Use an identity you control

Register with an email and contact details that belong to you or to the company that will own the workloads.

  3. Step 3:

Complete the account details AWS asks for

AWS will ask for account type, contact information, and an address. Use facts that match the person or company that will be responsible for the bill.

  4. Step 4:

Add a payment method your bank will authorise

Typically an international or dual-currency card. Ask your Bangladeshi bank whether it can clear an international charge, and what cap applies this month. A domestic-only debit card will fail.

  5. Step 5:

    Verify identity as AWS requires

Complete phone or other verification AWS presents. Skipping this by buying a 'verified' account is the failure mode described above.

  6. Step 6:

Turn on billing alerts and stay inside Free Tier until you know the estate

Set a billing alarm before you launch anything. Read the current Free Tier page. Stop unused resources. Companies that need a taka invoice should use Path 2.

Path 2: an account billed by a reseller in taka

A company in Dhaka does not fail AWS because the cloud is unavailable. It fails the commercial path: a dollar invoice, a card that declines, and no local tax document. The reseller path solves that without buying an account. TiCON Cloud invoices AWS usage in taka on one local monthly invoice. You still use the console, CLI and APIs. Workloads still run in ap-south-1 or ap-southeast-1. What changes is who you pay, in what currency, and on what paper.

If you already have an account, it can be linked for reseller billing — you do not throw it away. If you do not, one can be created under the reseller relationship, with ownership and root access agreed in writing. Either way this is a named contract with TICON System Limited, invoiced from 8 Gareeb-e-Newaz Ave, Uttara, Dhaka 1230 — not a marketplace listing.

You do not need a US-dollar card. Complete KYC as you would for any local vendor, then settle a taka invoice by bank transfer, card, or mobile financial services such as bKash or Nagad when that method is agreed. Confirm at setup. bKash cannot pay AWS itself; it can settle a TiCON invoice. Reseller pricing plus FinOps typically lands 15–35% below AWS list on compute and storage, and CloudFront is up to 40% lower — published ranges, not a quote. This page does not invent sample bills, tax rates, or the FX rule. Use the free bill analysis if you have a dollar invoice; use the contact form if you need an account opened.

The two legitimate paths, compared

The table compares mechanisms, not prices. Tax rates, card ceilings and FX spreads are omitted because they are not in the facts file and they change. Buying a pre-made account is included for contrast — it is not a recommended option.

If you are searching 'buy AWS account' from Bangladesh, you probably want to skip a dollar card. Do not buy a login. There are two legitimate paths. Buying a verified account is not one of them.

Marketplaces and Facebook groups sell aged, verified, or unlimited AWS accounts. The product is someone else's account, or an account opened on an identity that is not yours. The AWS Customer Agreement does not give you a right to buy, sell, or take over an account another person opened. That is a contract breach the day you log in, not a loophole.

When AWS traces the account to a broker, when the original cardholder disputes a charge, or when the signup identity does not match the person in the console, AWS can suspend or close the account. Workloads stop. Data that lived only there is at risk. There is no support path that makes a purchased login safe afterwards.

If you run a client's production on an account you bought, their data sits on infrastructure you do not own, paid for with a method you do not control. A chargeback is enough to take it down. You also get no local tax invoice.

Path one: open your own account. Go to aws.amazon.com. Use an email you control. Complete the identity checks AWS asks for. Add a payment method your Bangladeshi bank will authorise — typically an international or dual-currency card. Ask the issuer what cap applies this month. I will not quote the cap. Turn on billing alerts the same day. Read the current Free Tier page on AWS. Do not copy dollar tables from a blog. This path is right for labs, coursework, and small personal spend.

Path two, for companies: an account under a reseller, invoiced in taka. You do not need a US-dollar card to settle the monthly bill. Complete KYC as you would for any local vendor. TICON System Limited invoices AWS usage from the Dhaka office. You pay by bank transfer, card, or bKash or Nagad when that method is agreed. bKash cannot pay AWS itself. It can settle our invoice. Reseller pricing plus FinOps typically lands fifteen to thirty-five percent below AWS list on compute and storage. CloudFront is up to forty percent lower. Those are published ranges, not a quote.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy an AWS account?

No. You can open an account on aws.amazon.com, or a company can bill through an AWS reseller. Buying a pre-made or 'verified' account is not a legitimate path. The AWS Customer Agreement does not allow buying, selling or transferring accounts.

Is it legal to buy AWS accounts?

It violates the AWS Customer Agreement. AWS can suspend or close the account, and you can lose the data on it. This page does not give legal advice under Bangladesh criminal law; the contract fact is enough to stay away. Open your own account, or bill through a reseller.

How do I get AWS credits in Bangladesh?

AWS publishes credit programmes such as AWS Activate for eligible startups and the Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) for qualifying migrations through partners. Amounts, eligibility and application forms change; read them on AWS, do not copy a figure from a blog. TiCON Cloud can help qualifying migrations with MAP paperwork. Promotional credits are issued by AWS, not sold as a marketplace login.

Can a company open AWS without a dollar card?

Yes, if it bills through a reseller. TiCON Cloud invoices AWS usage in taka, so the company does not need an international card to settle the monthly bill. If the company pays AWS directly, it still needs a payment method AWS accepts — typically an international or dual-currency card.

Do I need a credit card to open AWS from Bangladesh?

To pay AWS directly, you need a payment method AWS accepts for that account, typically a card that can clear an international charge. To pay a reseller invoice in taka, you do not need a dollar card. Ask your bank whether your card can be used internationally; this page does not quote the cap.

Is the AWS Free Tier available in Bangladesh?

Yes. Open your own account and read aws.amazon.com/free. Walk-through: AWS Free Tier in Bangladesh. Turn on billing alerts; surprise bills come from resources left running, not from a hidden fee.
