Get an AWS Account Without Buying One: Two Legitimate Routes

TiCON Cloud (TICON System Limited) is an AWS Advanced Tier Partner based in Dhaka. People who search for "buy an AWS account" usually want to avoid a dollar card or a company card. Buying a "verified" account does not solve that. The two routes below are the ones that survive a review.

At a glance: 2 legitimate routes · Marketplace "verified" accounts are not one of them · Partner invoice in local currency for companies · Dhaka office issues the invoice

Why buying a pre-made AWS account fails

Marketplaces and social-media groups sell "verified", "aged" or "unlimited" AWS accounts. The pitch is that you skip the card, skip the identity checks and skip the currency controls. The product is either someone else's account or an account opened on a stolen identity. Logging in is already a breach of contract. It is not a loophole.

The AWS Customer Agreement does not give you a right to buy, sell or take over an account that another person opened. If AWS traces the account to a broker, if the original cardholder disputes a charge, or if the signup identity does not match the person in the console, AWS can suspend or close the account. Workloads stop, and any data that existed only on that account is at risk. Afterwards, no support channel makes a purchased login safe.

If you run a client's production system on an account you bought, the data sits on infrastructure you do not own, paid for by a method you do not control. A single chargeback can take it down. A company also receives no local tax invoice. Demand for these accounts exists because the legitimate payment path is harder, with dollar billing, card limits and no local invoice. It is not because buying a login works. Open an account you own, or bill through a partner.

Path 1: open your own AWS account

If you are an individual, a student or a founder testing AWS, open the account yourself. You do not need a partner for this. You need an email address you control, the identity details AWS asks for, and a payment method that can clear an international charge. Follow the live signup on aws.amazon.com, because screenshots in blog posts go stale.

Local addresses and phone numbers are accepted. AWS does not operate a Region inside Bangladesh, so workloads run in Mumbai (ap-south-1) or Singapore (ap-southeast-1), which is what TiCON uses for its Bangladesh-based production. Choosing the nearest Region is a latency question, not an account question.

The payment step is where most people get stuck. AWS collects in dollars for most accounts. A domestic-only debit card will be declined. A dual-currency or international card can work if your bank authorizes the merchant and you are inside its limit. This page does not publish the limit, so ask your issuer. Current Free Tier terms are on the AWS Free Tier page. Surprise bills come from resources left running, so turn on billing alerts the day you open the account.

This route suits spending that is yours and does not require a local tax invoice. That covers most labs, coursework and short freelance jobs. A company that needs a tax invoice, or a bill larger than a retail card will clear, should use Path 2.

Opening your own AWS account, about 30 minutes

Open an account you own. Do not buy a login. AWS's live signup is the authority; the steps below describe the sequence, not a replacement for the form.

  1. Step 1:

Start on AWS, not on a marketplace.

Go to aws.amazon.com and choose the option to create an AWS account. Do not buy a login or a "verified" account from a broker.

  2. Step 2:

    Use an identity you control.

Register with an email address and contact details that belong to you, or to the company that will own the workloads.

  3. Step 3:

Complete the account details AWS asks for.

AWS asks for account type, contact information and an address. Use details that match the person or company responsible for the bill.

  4. Step 4:

Add a payment method your bank will authorize.

This is typically an international or dual-currency card. Ask your bank whether it can clear an international charge and what limit applies this month. A domestic-only debit card will fail.

  5. Step 5:

    Verify identity as AWS requires.

Complete the phone or other checks AWS presents. Skipping them by buying a "verified" account is the failure mode described above.

  6. Step 6:

Turn on billing alerts and stay inside the Free Tier until you know the estate.

Set a billing alarm before you launch anything, read the current Free Tier page, and stop resources you are not using. A company that needs a tax invoice should use Path 2.

Path 2: an account billed by a partner in local currency

A company in Dhaka, or in any market with currency controls, usually does not fail because AWS is unavailable. It fails on the commercial path: a dollar invoice, a card that declines, and no local tax document. A partner solves that without a purchased account. TiCON Cloud invoices AWS usage on one local monthly invoice. You keep using the console, CLI and APIs. Workloads still run in ap-south-1 or ap-southeast-1. What changes is who you pay, in which currency, and on which paperwork.

An account you already own can be linked for partner billing, so you do not have to discard it. If you have no account, one can be created under the partner relationship, with ownership and root access agreed in writing. Either way this is a named contract with TICON System Limited, invoiced from its Dhaka office, not a marketplace listing.

A US-dollar card is not needed for the partner invoice. You complete company checks as you would with any local vendor, then settle the invoice by bank transfer, card, or a mobile payment method agreed at setup. Confirm the method when the account is configured. Partner pricing plus cost management typically lands 15–35% below AWS list for compute and storage, and CloudFront is up to 40% lower. Those are published ranges, not a quote. This page does not include sample bills, tax rates or exchange rules. Send a dollar invoice for a free bill analysis, or use the contact form to request an account setup.

The two legitimate routes, compared

This table compares mechanisms, not prices. Tax rates, card limits and exchange spreads are left out because they change. Buying a pre-made account appears for contrast only. It is not a recommended option.

If you are searching for "buy an AWS account", you probably want to avoid a dollar card. Do not buy a login. There are two legitimate routes, and buying a verified account is not one of them.

Marketplaces and social groups sell aged, verified or unlimited AWS accounts. The product is someone else's account, or an account opened on an identity that is not yours. The AWS Customer Agreement does not let you buy, sell or take over an account another person opened. That is a breach of contract the moment you log in.

If AWS traces the account to a broker, if the original cardholder disputes a charge, or if the signup identity does not match the person in the console, AWS can suspend or close the account. Workloads stop, and the data that lived only there is at risk. No support channel makes a purchased login safe afterwards.

Route one is to open your own account. Go to aws.amazon.com and use an email you control. Complete the identity checks AWS asks for. Add a payment method your bank will authorize, typically an international or dual-currency card. Ask the issuer what limit applies this month. Turn on billing alerts the same day. Read the current Free Tier page. This route is right for labs, coursework and small personal spend.

Route two is for companies: an account billed by a partner in local currency. You do not need a dollar card to settle the monthly bill. Complete the company checks, as you would for any local vendor. The partner invoices AWS usage from its office, and you pay by bank transfer or another agreed method. Partner pricing plus cost management typically lands fifteen to thirty-five percent below AWS list on compute and storage, and CloudFront is up to forty percent lower. Those are published ranges, not a quote.

Talk to an architect if you need the partner route. Open the account yourself if the spend is yours and you do not need a local tax invoice.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy an AWS account?

No. You can open an account on aws.amazon.com, or a company can bill through an AWS partner. Buying a pre-made or "verified" account is not a legitimate route. The AWS Customer Agreement does not allow buying, selling or transferring accounts.

Is buying an AWS account legal?

It breaks the AWS Customer Agreement. AWS can suspend or close the account, and you can lose its data. This page gives no legal advice; the contract is the decisive fact. Open your own account, or bill through a partner.

Are there AWS credits for startups or migrations?

AWS runs programs such as AWS Activate for eligible startups and the Migration Acceleration Program (MAP) for qualifying migrations. Amounts, eligibility and forms change, so read them on AWS and do not copy a figure from a blog. TiCON Cloud can help with MAP paperwork for qualifying migrations. Credits come from AWS, not from a marketplace login.

Can a company open AWS without a dollar card?

Yes, if it bills through a partner. TiCON Cloud invoices AWS usage in local currency, so the company does not need an international card to settle the monthly bill. If the company pays AWS directly, it still needs a payment method AWS accepts.

Do I need a credit card to open AWS from Bangladesh?

To pay AWS directly, you need a payment method AWS accepts for that account, typically a card that can clear an international charge. To pay a partner invoice in local currency, you do not need a dollar card. Ask your bank whether your card works internationally.

Is the AWS Free Tier available to people in Bangladesh?

Yes. Open your own account and read the Free Tier page on aws.amazon.com. Turn on billing alerts, because surprise bills come from resources left running rather than from hidden fees.
