AWS pricing calculator
This tool prices a simple AWS workload at OnDemand list prices in USD, for the Mumbai (ap-south-1) or Singapore (ap-southeast-1) Region. It shows one monthly total, a labelled TiCON estimate band, and a permalink that records your inputs. Use it to compare designs and to open a cost conversation. It is not a quote, not an invoice, and not a replacement for AWS's own calculator at calculator.aws.
AWS pricing in BDT explained

Search 'AWS pricing in BDT' and you will find screenshots with a taka total. Some of those numbers are list prices times a market rate. Some are guesses. This is how to tell them apart, and how to use the calculator on this page.
AWS publishes OnDemand list prices in dollars, by Region. For Bangladeshi production we price Mumbai and Singapore, because those are the Regions we actually run. There is no AWS Region inside Bangladesh, so a taka invoice does not mean the data sits in Dhaka.
The calculator on this page pulls those public list rates from the AWS Price List. Instance hours use AWS's seven-hundred-and-thirty-hour month. Storage is per gigabyte-month. CloudFront uses the India-edge outbound rate Bangladeshi viewers typically hit first. The file on this site records when those rates were fetched. If that date is older than forty-five days, treat the numbers as stale.
The taka column is the dollar total times a public USD to BDT mid-market rate. The source and the timestamp sit on the result. It is labelled indicative on purpose. TiCON's invoice quoting rule is not published, so this screen will not claim the on-screen taka is what you will be billed.
The 'with TiCON' band applies percentages already on this site: fifteen to thirty-five percent below list on compute and storage, and up to forty percent on CloudFront. Both ends are estimates. An estate already on Savings Plans will move less. An estate full of idle on-demand boxes will move more. A quote still needs the actual invoice.
What actually drives a Bangladesh bill is not the instance type you picked first. It is hours, then bytes. A box that runs all month is seven hundred and thirty hours. A non-production box off at night is a fraction of that. After hours, CloudFront and regional data transfer are where growing products surprise finance. NAT Gateway is the quiet line — hourly plus per gigabyte, often forgotten.
For OTT, the CDN line overtakes origin compute once a title is popular. That is why CloudFront is a separate lever, and why the published 'up to forty percent' is a bandwidth number, not a compute number.
This calculator does not add VAT or AIT. Those are NBR lines on a real local invoice. It does not checkout. Paying AWS in taka is a reseller-billing conversation, not a button on this screen.
Change a field and copy the permalink. Send that, or last month's bill, if you want a number you can take to finance. Talk to an architect when you are ready for an invoice in taka. The tool is at ticoncloud.com/tools/aws-pricing-calculator-bdt.

Start here: what this calculator prices
The calculator prices a short list of common services at OnDemand list rates. It is useful for comparing two designs, for checking which line drives the bill, and for giving finance a dated baseline. It does not know your negotiated rates, your commitments or your tax position, and it does not take payment.
Work through it in this order: pick the Region, enter the hours and volumes you expect, read the USD list total, then read the band as a range to discuss. Change one field at a time and copy the permalink for each scenario you want to keep.
How to read the numbers
- Source. Rates come from the AWS Price List Bulk API for the Region you select. Each result records the date its rates were fetched. If that date is more than 45 days old, treat the figures as stale and ask for a refresh before you use them.
- Hours. Instance hours use AWS's 730-hour month. An instance that runs all month is entered as 730 hours. A non-production instance switched off outside working hours is entered as the hours it actually runs.
- Storage. Priced per GB-month.
- CloudFront. Priced at one edge's outbound rate for the first 10 TB a month. The tool uses an India edge rate. If your viewers sit elsewhere, the rate and the total will differ.
- Regional data transfer out. Priced at the first 10 TB a month tier, after the free tier.
- Origin data transfer out. Transfer from the Region to the internet that skips CloudFront. Leave it at zero when content is already served through CloudFront.
The TiCON band. The band applies percentages we publish to the list total: compute and storage are typically 15–35% below list, and CloudFront is up to 40% lower. The CloudFront figure is a bandwidth number and does not apply to compute. Both ends are estimates. An estate already on Savings Plans moves less. An estate with idle on-demand capacity moves more. The band is a range for discussion, not a quote.
Worked example, using a hypothetical split of a $10,000 monthly list total: $6,000 is compute and storage and $4,000 is CloudFront. The band gives $900 to $2,100 a month on compute and storage, and up to $1,600 a month on CloudFront.
What actually drives a bill in these Regions
The first fork is the Region. Mumbai (ap-south-1) is the usual default for this calculator. Singapore (ap-southeast-1) is here when a workload already lives there. Both are the Regions in our working set. This version prices those two only.
The next driver is hours. A box that runs all month costs 730 hours. A non-production box off at night is a fraction of that. After hours, the bill is bytes: CloudFront and regional data transfer are where growing products surprise finance. NAT Gateway is the quiet line, since it bills per hour and per GB processed, and it is often forgotten.
Why CloudFront dominates OTT bills
Video is bytes delivered to a person. Once a title is popular, the CDN line overtakes origin compute. That is why the OTT preset puts large volumes on CloudFront and keeps instance count small. The TiCON range treats CloudFront separately because the published "up to 40%" is a bandwidth lever, not a compute lever.
If the objects already sit on CloudFront, leave origin data transfer out at zero. Origin transfer, which skips the CDN, is a different and usually more expensive line.
Savings Plans, in brief
This calculator prices OnDemand because that is the public rate card and it needs no commitment. Compute Savings Plans and EC2 Instance Savings Plans discount steady-state compute if you commit to a dollar-per-hour amount for one or three years. They do not discount CloudFront, S3 requests or NAT the same way. The TiCON range already folds reseller pricing and FinOps into the published band. If you already hold commitments, say so on the bill analysis so the same discount is not counted twice.
Totals on screen are not invoices
Finance teams care about the invoice, not the console total. The calculator shows USD list prices only. Tax is not added here: taxes apply as applicable in your jurisdiction and the contract. Private pricing, credits and support plans are not included. Other currencies are by contract only, so ask before you assume one.
Frequently asked questions
- Is this AWS's calculator?
- No. AWS's own calculator is at calculator.aws. This page prices a short list of common services at OnDemand list prices in Mumbai and Singapore and shows a labelled TiCON estimate.
- Where do the prices come from?
- The AWS Price List Bulk API. The fetch date is shown on each result.
- Is this a quote?
- No. A quote follows a scope conversation and is in USD unless the contract says otherwise.
- Can I buy AWS through this page?
- No. This is an estimator, not a checkout.
